Ardit ,Ranja and ther son Roi have started to plant the church in the city of Perrenjas on January 5th 2025 . The city of Prrenjas is located in the southeast of Albania, near the border with North Macedonia. The population of the city is about 10,000 citizens. About 95% of the population is Muslim. The city does not offer many employment opportunities, surrounded mostly by mountains.
Ardit and Ranja are part of Church of God Albania Network and there vision and mission is to extend Gods Kingdom as much as possible the Kingdom of God by sharing the gospel and planting churches wherever the body of Christ don’t exist and to fulfill the great commission to make followers of Christ that make followers of Christ. By bringing Faith ,Hope & Change in peoples life’s.
Ardi came from a family with Muslim traditions, like many Albanians. He believed in God, and started practicing the Muslim religion when He was a child, the reason was also that he had a relative who was the Imam. He heard about Jesus a long time ago from the teacher in first grade who was a Christian, but he didn’t pay much attention to it. The social mentality, the many economic difficulties and in the family prevented him from accepting Jesus or change religion. But the moment a church was opened in his village, he started to learn more about Jesus. He accepted that he had died for him, but he hadn’t made a decision to follow him. The moment he decided to accept Christ was at the most difficult moment of his life. His mother suffers from a serious illness, In his second year of high school one day she got seriously ill and on the way to the hospital, he was praying for the first time to Jesus that if He was truly God, He would save his mother. When we took her to the hospital, the doctors told them that she had no hope of living. She needed a miracle to be saved. And that miracle happened for him to know and believe that it was an answer to his prayer. There Ardit decided to follow Jesus, in a moment of difficulty. But the difficult moments for him continued. After his father found out that he had become a Christian, he kicked him out of the house. But this did not stop him from following Christ. After finishing university, he returned to his hometown once again. To serve God in this area. Being involved in some ministries in villages near the city of Perrenjas. God was putting it on his heart to start a ministry in the city a new church.
