Update September 2024

John 4:13-14

– Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give          him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

– Lately i visited an old monastery up in south that was built in the early 1632, in the vicinity of the monastery there was a spring with fresh water coming out of the mountain in free fall.

This spring has taken care of the monks and the believers for nearly 5 centuries, quite a long time. But yet Jesus is speaking for a water      that makes us to never thirst again as we become the fountain itself. Water is our basic need, it’s what we are made of, 60% of our body is made of water. How important! We think of his important every time we are thirsty  as we do with all of our needs. In Matthew 6:33 Jesus reminds us what to look out first, His teaching in all chapter 6 is having your priorities right, what to do, how to do it, how to pray, how to fast, where to focus and where to trust. Many times, we think it’s harder these days to have faith and trust God.  We think its harder than ever. Is it ? Many believers think it is , as we are near the end times. But for me these is not true. No one knew and no one will know when that day will come. So for every believer ever lived and that will come, his time is the end of times and we should have faith that God will provide not just for a time, but as He promises for everlasting life.  With these said, i learned a valuable lesson as visiting the monastery, sharing challenges is not complaining all the time, if your purpose is wright. Sharing challenges means dealing with problems to overcome them, using the body of Christ to do what is meant and helping every part to function and fulfil the purpose entrusted by God. And these periods   of time it has been challenging, with people still migrating for a better life, health issues, losing good old friends, losing mentors  and family members, financial difficulties, corruption in the country , challenges with kids growing up and decisions to be made for there future and education. Yes it has been hard. But i Believe it is the same with you. But in the midst of all these I Rejoice as i know and have  seen the Love of God, and how the Body of Christ comes in life thru your Love, Prayer, Giving and showing up many times in country to give a hand. Thank You .

Pastoring 4 churches in different locations and taking care of all operations for our network still a challenge, but thanking God that many times good brothers and sisters take responsibility and light the burden. We have seen people coming to Christ and give there life to Jesus,   it is comforting to know that no matter the political and social situation that makes people leave God has continued to show up and fill His church with new believers hoping and working to new leaders.

-The youth in our church in Tirana has been an great encouragement as they are taking care  of many of the things in church and not only  but these year they also organized the camp in our church in Pogradec giving us a strong hand and an amazing time . – God came thru and these year again we have been able to host more than 14 camps in our churches and programs, more than 800 children’s got involved . Camps are the highlight of our children’s ministry , they are a fuel that energizes staff, Children’s and community’s. Pastor Kristian in Elbasan points out that the days spent with the children’s strengthen his relationship with the next generation of disciples in his congregation and there relationship with Jesus. Pastor Ilir in Proptisht said that it was a refreshing time for the kids and there parents as many so the camps as the fulfilling of a need for there children’s, since many don’t have the means and possibility to go on holiday . Xhuli and Genti in Rrodokal so the camp as the time of teaching and reaching the children’s with the good news of Jesus Christ ,many came and confessed Jesus. The prayer we as leaders, pastors and teachers have for the next year is, to be able to continue. To be able to teach, motivate, care    and impact our community’s where hope is lost and the future is clouded by the political despair and social challenges .

These year has been amazing so far ! We had the opportunity to minister to more than 120 Woman’s in 6 different  churches with 7 retreat’s . The plans for the rest of the year is that we can organize 3 more and one in the woman’s prison.  Woman’s ministry is one of the pillars of the Albanian church as they are the majority of our congregations .

To Pray For

-Pray That God will use these camps for His Glory and the seeds planted will grow.

-Pray for the new church that will start in Cerrik  on the 5^th of October . That God will use and protect his people in one the most difficult spiritual area of Albania. Pray for the team the pastoral family  Qelemeni that have said yes to God, more info and pictures coming soon.

-These October will be teaching at ISTL Church Planting , pray that God will use these time to encourage young leaders to think for church planting and the work that is happening around them, so they can go to plant churches or join those in need for workers.
